Welcome!
I'm Beth, a Pennsylvania state certified K-6 teacher, tutor, and lifelong learner. I've been teaching and tutoring preschool through 6th grade for over a decade in rural, urban, suburban, and virtual settings. Throughout the years, I became more disappointed with how many students were falling through the cracks in our current school system. They were being passed along to the next grade without actually having mastered the basics of reading, writing, and math. Or they were above grade level, but no one was noticing their boredom! Both scenarios created student frustration as their skills did not match the expectations in the classroom. Confidence plummeted and it broke my heart. Students needed small group teaching and one-on-one instruction at their level. They needed someone to celebrate their progress and inspire them to keep going. That's why Progress Tutoring was created. Through one-on-one, adaptable support, your student will be challenged and supported at their level.
